About Us

Adler Solutions provides a comprehensive range of firearms training available in Canada for the firearms community as well as specialized programs for both the Military and Law Enforcement communities.

For the sport shooter we offer basic programs that are affordable and accessible as we will travel to your local range area. Whether you are interested in learning basic pistol and holster skills needed to enter the competition world or advancing your knowledge to compete in 3-gun and team skills competitions; 2 -3 day blocks of instruction allow you to take the courses you need when it’s convenient for you.

For the competition shooters we can run classes in smaller blocks of training from 1 to 5 days in duration. Scenario based training options including moving targets, obstacles and target arrays. A customized program can include different elements so little time is wasted on already acquired skills.

For Military and Law Enforcement we offer unique opportunities to create some of the most realistic stress induced scenario based training using actors and personnel with a host of special effects and pyrotechnic experience from the film industry. Many of the actors we use are former personnel from within these branches of service so they are familiar with tactics and procedures that may be required during scenarios to fulfill accurate pressure point and less lethal techniques. They are able to impartially and objectively stand aside and offer critique on many elements for debriefing and instructional purposes. Using professionally trained actors for de-escalation scenarios you no longer run into issues using your own personnel that may respond differently as an adversary due to previously ingrained training and psychological mindset required for the survival instinct. The actors will also respond differently to a wide variety of situations based on the level of input from the operator or student. In addition we can provide a variety of video applications to compliment the training for debrief and future instructional use.

We also offer instructional blocks strictly to this community in the form of Foreign Weapons instruction and information on these systems from the manufacturing aspect regarding types and systems being built from scratch in a home machine shops. We have and continue to consult throughout North America and Europe on these types of firearms.

AboutUs

A note from the director of training:

What we bring to the public is a hybrid version of those programs that we cater to military and the law enforcement communities that will bring in a dynamic and fun learning and scenario setup that is usually only available outside our own country or strictly in a competition setting.

From a moral standpoint, outside of basic handling of carbine and pistol (which we feel are necessary safety skills for owning such gear) we do check and require background checks and have the ultimate responsibility to remove anyone we feel is using the advanced programs for less than savoury purposes or is/appears unstable in any way shape or form. As a private company, if we don't feel you are even capable of the basic safety requirements we will send you off the range (under police escort if necessary). We need to trust the student’s ability to learn, and perform tasks safely and with complete awareness of their surroundings. If for any reason that doesn't fall into place then we stop the process and the person in question goes home. Is it unreasonable for instructors to demand this from a student? Given the nature of the gear we practice with and enjoy as a sport, absolutely not. It is one of the fundamental practices we try to instil in new shooters across the country in firearms safety courses which often times is sadly forgotten once they start practicing on their own. I'm sure we've all seen the people on the range that have their license and permits but continue to act in a less than honourable fashion and because of that we all strive to be better so we do not tarnish the fragile industry in this country we all enjoy as a privilege.

Bottom line is we're here because we want to be, not because we have to and the same can be said for those that are working with us to develop this. Any of the courses you have taken that were memorable or good programs were likely because of solid people delivering a product because of this mentality. We will not compromise the training we offer just to make a buck.
